Non-Allowable items are any item that has an excessive degree of risk in being transported. Some good questions to keep in mind when packing are:

      1) Can it spoil, leak, or potentially explode?

      2) Can it cause a fire or be affected by heat or cold?

      3) Is it alive?

Be aware that some items cannot be packed during some seasons, but are okay to be packed during others, such as: candles in the summer, or liquids in the winter. Below you can find a list of items that are never permitted to be transported in your shipment:

      1) Wine Collection 

      2) Aerosols  

      3) Poison

      4) Ammunition

      5) Propane tanks of any kind

      6) Fire Extinguishers

      7) Perishable or Frozen Foods 

      8) Live Plants 

      9) Flammables

Yes, and right now we are offering 1 month of FREE storage! We provide both short-term and long-term storage services at either our Tigard, OR facility.

      1)  It is important to note that Moving & Storage warehouses like ours operates differently than public                   storage facilities.  

           a.  To view/access your goods or add/remove goods to/from storage, you will need to call and make an                  appointment with our Dispatcher/Warehouseman, Ty Tuck, at 503-287-2700.

                 i.  Our warehouse is open Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 

                 ii.  Warehouse labor fees will incur and will be added to your existing storage account for the time                           it takes our warehouseman to pull and/or put away your vaulted or oversize items.

Any furniture, including beds, that requires disassembly by the driver/movers at origin will be reassembled by the driver/movers at destination unless the furniture is being delivered to a storage facility. Please note this does not apply to specialty items such as:

      1)  Large appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.).

      2)  Items bolted, screwed, or wired into a wall.

      3)  Anything with electrical components that can/will be affected by disassembly.

Not all items can be disassembled by our drivers and crew members. If you are unsure whether we can disassemble/reassemble an item, do not hesitate to reach out to your move coordinator for clarification prior to your move day.

Valuation is a legal liability that moving companies must offer to cover damage or loss caused by the mover’s actions. Valuation is regulated by federal law and is offered in two levels: released value protection (60 cents per lb per article) at no additional cost, and full value protection at a premium.

Insurance is a contract between you an insurance company that covers loss or damage. This coverage is sometimes limited to acts of God, fire and other unforeseen events. You will need to check with your insurance company to make sure you have sufficient coverage for what you need.
