We used ITS Global for our move from Portland to Seattle. Wee were advised by the sales rep Randy Whoolcot to not purchase their additional insurance which turned out to be a massive mistake. The movers broke several items and neglected to put a pad on top of our dresser before stacking things on top of it. The 1 year old dresser is scratch and dented beyond repair and the 60c per pound coverage won't come close to the cost to replace it. You have the option of writing if the cost of something is more than the weight when they show up. It was explained in a way to make you think that they only want to know about small china and trinkets and the movers are already packing your things before you even have a chance to understand what you are signing. Make sure you write down every piece of furniture, electronic, wine glasses, basically everything you own is worth more than .60c per pound before they arrive to your house. Think about it, a dinner plate is maybe half a pound so they'll give you 30 cents if they break your plate regardless of how expensive it was. In our case it was wine glasses which don't weigh anything so they don't cover it at all. Our driver showed up to Seattle an hour late without a working phone. Because of that nobody at ITS Global had a clue where he was or when he would show up. He also had forgotten his wallet and despite watching them drop boxes and put furniture onto a hand truck without a pad I felt inclined to give him some cash so the poor kid
