Hours: Full time, 40+/- hours + Overtime + Customer Tips (seasonal business), Monday through Saturday.  

Wage: $25 to $33 per hour DOE.

Drivers: Follow daily instructions provided by the company Dispatcher, General Manager, and/or Owner(s). Drive employer owned straight trucks/vehicles and rental trucks to/from jobsites, as needed. Perform all required moving services on a customer-by-customer basis (i.e. packing, wrapping, furniture padding, loading, unloading, unwrapping, unpadding, folding pads, truck upkeep, warehouse vaulting/unvaulting, warehouse upkeep and O&I services).

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

o   80% of the time performing moving services (i.e. loading and unloading household goods/furniture).

o   20% of the time driving in a moving truck.

o   Provide excellent customer service.

o   Collection of COD and credit card transactions which requires credit card pre-authorization phone calls to accounts receivable employee and interaction with customers.

o   All customer paperwork must be signed and/or initialed on each job and returned to the office in completion.

o   Local Bill of Lading calculations must be double checked with an office/managerial staff member over the phone before leaving jobsite. 

o   Responsible for handling customer payments and for paying non-employee helpers with petty cash.

o   Responsible for other crew members while on customer job sites. 

Competencies:

o   Average to above average verbal communication skills.

o   Ability to produce and communicate professional business correspondence in-person, via text and telephonically.

o   Work with minimal supervision and possess problem solving skills.

o   Be a positive team player.

o   Average level mathematical skills using a company provided calculator or personal cell phone for onsite job calculations and collections.

Experience Requirements

• Must have household goods moving and driving experience to qualify for our Driver position.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record to apply.
• Teamwork capability is a must.
• Proficient with a calculator and math is a plus.
• Customer service background is a plus.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST (WE DO NOT TEST FOR CANNABIS).
